Nobody likes to have their hands tied up holding a cell phone when they’re trying to work, or eat. While sometimes you can place your phone down and talk to somebody over speakerphone, if you’re out in a public place odds are you don’t want random people listening in on your phone call. That is the reason why so many people are looking into buying bluetooth earpieces, and one of the best earpieces for the iPhone that is on the market today is the Jabra JX10 Bluetooth Headset.
The Jabra JX10 Bluetooth Headset is the ultimate when it comes to hands off earpiece functionality. The headset features automatic volume control that will raise and lower the volume of the person on the other end of the headpiece based on how loud they are talking, as well as the volume of the background noises. The headset’s DSP technology helps to drown out those same background noises, ensuring that your voice comes through crystal clear each time. Pairing the headset to the iPhone is also an easy task, with the user only having to press a single button.
The £69.95 price tag may turn some people away, but for a comfortable earpiece with a good amount of talk time, DSP technology and automatic volume control, it makes the Jabra JX10 a worthy investment for anybody who’s constantly on the go.

You know, the iPhone is useful for more things than just making phone calls. You can surf the internet, play music, play games, and if you go online you’ll find thousands of other useful applications that you can download onto your iPhone. But you know what the one glaring absence from the iPhone is?
No, not 3G, smart-alec. Besides, Apple is fixing that in the new iPhone. I’m talking about a quality FM tuner. After all, while we love our mp3 and CD players, sometimes you just want to listen to a good, old fashioned radio station. Well, now you can with the iPhone FM Transmitter (with car charger).
The iPhone FM Transmitter plugs into the bottom of your iPhone, and essentially turns it into a makeshift FM radio. The unit itself generates a powerful, clean signal that will let you listen to your favorite radio programs, no matter how far you are from your car. Maybe, for example, you’re somebody who loves to listen to one of the many morning shows, but you work early in the morning and can’t get to a radio. Well, you plug this little device into the bottom of your iPhone, plug in a pair of earphones, and you’re ready to go.
The iPhone FM Transmitter also comes with a car charger, although I’m not sure what you’ll use it for. If you don’t already have an iPhone car adapter, however, it’s a good deal.
So, how much for the FM Transmitter and Car Charger? Only £19.99. If you love the radio, then this is the perfect device for you.

Are you one of those people who spends a good chunk of their time on the road? Nobody can blame you. Between commuting back and forth to work each day, going out with friends, picking the kids up, you probably spend more time in your car than you do your garden. However, that’s no excuse to be talking on the phone while you’re driving. Thankfully, Jabra is here to help with the Jabra SP5050 Speakerphone.
One of the most common complaints from iPhone users is that, even with the volume turned all the way up, sometimes the volume can be too quiet. While some people have gone to poking extra holes in the speaker with a needle, the
wiser decision (that also won’t void your warranty) is to find a quality speakerphone, and that’s exactly what Jabra has delivered with the SP5050. The speakerphone uses a bluetooth connection, so you won’t have to worry about attaching the speaker to the phone itself, and the autopairing feature of the speakerphone make it ultra easy to establish a connection with your iPhone. When not in use, the speakerphone will preserve its battery life by shutting itself off after fifteen minutes. The clip on the back allows for you to slide the speakerphone onto your sun visor.
Now, the speakerphone isn’t the cheapest accessory for the iPhone, with it’s £49.95 price at most dealers. However, for anybody who’s frequently on the go, the Jabra SP5050 will do more than simply keep both hands free — it may actually save your license.

Hey.
H E Y!
Don’t throw your old iPhone out just because Apple announced the new, G3 version of the iPhone. First of all, there’s always a bit of nostalgic value to owning an older model phone. Secondly, the 3G won’t be out for a little while yet so if you toss your current phone you’re out of luck. However, while you wait for the new 3G, start looking for some accessories to help the phone’s functionality.
For instance, at the Apple Store for a mere £19.00, you can pick yourself up the Apple Stereo Headset with Microphone. Now, why would you want to pick up a wired headset when you could just as easily pick up a Bluetooth headset? Well, for starters, a lot of the bluetooth headsets are uncomfortable to wear. Other times, as is the case with Apple’s own iPhone Bluetooth headset, they provide poor quality voice reception on the far end. In short, you can hear them just fine, but they can’t make out a word you say.
The advantage with the Apple Stereo Headset with Mic is that you have an ear piece in either ear, assuring you’re hearing the person on the other end of the phone just fine. Also, the microphone provides voice quality that is surprisingly crisp for the price. However, since this is only £19.00, there are a couple of setbacks. For example, a couple of people have complained about the quality of the actual earpieces, with a few saying that they can fall apart. This appears to be a minor problem, though, and most reviews have been generally favorable.
So where can you pick this headset up? Well, consider yourself lucky since you don’t have to leave the comfort of your computer chair. All you have to do is go to the Apple Store (U.K., of course) and lay down the £19, plus shipping.

It was certain to happen at some point in time. Your iPhone battery dies in the middle of a call. Whether you were just too busy to charge it before you left or you didn’t expect your battery to be so low, it’s a hassle either way. Are you out of luck? Not if you were fortunate enough to invest in the one iPhone accessory you can’t afford to be without – your emergency charger kit. Made to work with virtually any vehicle on the market today, you can be assured of the power you need when you need it with this purchase.
Use any twelve volt accessory outlet in your vehicle, and you can not only charge your phone as you head towards your destination, you can also use the charger to power your phone to make calls while you’re en route. Ideally, you’ll make this iPhone accessory purchase as you’re buying the phone itself, but if you’ve already had it for a few months, you can still make the purchase. In fact, at a very affordable £9.99, you may want to invest in one for each of your vehicles.

Are you one of those people who loves their iPhone, but dreads touching it for fear of leaving smudges of grease, dirt, or whatever else is on your hands all over your screen? Well, try washing your hands. Go on, I’ll wait.
…
…okay. Now that your hands are washed and you are no longer afraid of holding the iPhone, let me tell you that you still don’t have to hold your iPhone. Not when you’re making calls, anyway.
The iPhone Bluetooth Headset is one iphone accessory that gives you the full ability to make and receive telephone calls without ever having to pick up your iPhone. This is good for people who are on the phone while driving, people who tend to have long conversations and don’t want their arms to grow tired, and for the aforementioned people who can’t wash their hands. With the 5 1/2 hours of talk time and the ultra-lightweight design that fits comfortably in your ear, you’re guaranteed to be able to have those long conversations while still being comfortable.
In addition to the actual earpiece, you will also be getting a charging dock that will allow you to charge both your iPhone and earpiece while simultaneously syncing the devices to each other, as well as a travel cable to allow you to charge your iPhone and your headset while you’re on the road.
These devices are selling almost as fast as the iPhone itself, so be quick to grab one. If you can’t find one at your local electronics retailer, you can find the bluetooth headset here or £79.00 or at Apple’s website.
MacNN today published what appears to be pictures of moulds from Chinese website idealschina for Griffin Technology’s new FlexGrip cases.

This would imply Griffin has had the 3G iPhone for some time now, obviously keeping it tightly under wraps. The image seems to show the new 3G iPhone has a thinner more rounded back.

Now that you have your iPhone in hand, you’re going to want to make sure you have all the accessories you need to promise that you’ll get the full iPhone experience. Sure, while some things you can get for your iPhone may seem kind of useless, once you have them you’ll wonder how you ever got by before.
Now, you may think an iPhone dock is worthless, but you’d be wrong. Odds are you’ll want to hook your iPhone up to your PC or Mac at some point, and the iPhone Dock not only allows you to sync your phone up to the computer, but you can charge the phone while you’re doing it — unlike a BlackBerry Pearl.
But in addition to syncing with your PC to allow easier transference of mp3s and other files, the iPhone Dock can be used as a go-between from your iPhone to your stereo system, allowing you to blast your music through your speakers. The iPhone Dock also works great with speakerphone calls, providing crystal clear quality through its audio porting technology.
For just under £30 at the Apple Store, the iPhone Dock is a deal you can’t pass up if you’re a serious iPhone lover. The inclusion of both the Dock and the USB Power Adapter (along with necessary cords) makes this almost too good.

Updates have become a major part of our lives. Whether you’re talking about a news update on the war against terrorism or having the technology that controls us update itself to give you better features and safety measures, we’re constantly in a state of update. Everything, that is, except our cell phones. Manufacturers make changes to phone technology every single day, but in most cases, you’ll never see those updates until you throw your current phone away and purchase a new one. Unless, of course, you have the new Apple iPhone.
You may be familiar with the excitement about this device. You may even have seen pictures of people waiting in line for one, but this is one device that is truly worth waiting in line for.
The Apple iPhone is the first cellular phone to come with a full operating system. While lots of other devices claim to be “smart phones,” the iPhone is the only one that truly meets the definition of that term. Updates are an integral part of any software system, and US users have already had the opportunity to download two software updates for their new iPhones.
As the technology grows and changes, Apple will continue to make a commitment to their customers thus giving them the best product all of the time. Most cell phone companies only offer that commitment when you walk out of the store with a new phone. Once you’ve had time to open the box, there’s a problem with the software, a bug in the system, or something else they simply can’t fix.
The iPhone just doesn’t have that problem. Whether it’s security patches or new features, your iPhone will continue to maintain the quality it displayed when it was first released through the help of Apple’s continued commitment to providing you with necessary updates. That means a functionality that just doesn’t appear with other mobile phone products.
No updates means no software corrections, no function changes, and absolutely no increased performance. Updates mean the Apple iPhone. So, seriously, head out, get in line, and get an iPhone. The touch screen, the entertainment aspects, the 8 gigs of storage are all worth the price alone, but the updates you can get to increase your levels of performance on a regular basis are priceless – and they’re unavailable with any other device on the market.
