Hey.

H  E  Y!

Don’t throw your old iPhone out just because Apple announced the new, G3 version of the iPhone. First of all, there’s always a bit of nostalgic value to owning an older model phone. Secondly, the 3G won’t be out for a little while yet so if you toss your current phone you’re out of luck. However, while you wait for the new 3G, start looking for some accessories to help the phone’s functionality.

For instance, at the Apple Store for a mere £19.00, you can pick yourself up the Apple Stereo Headset with Microphone. Now, why would you want to pick up a wired headset when you could just as easily pick up a Bluetooth headset? Well, for starters, a lot of the bluetooth headsets are uncomfortable to wear. Other times, as is the case with Apple’s own iPhone Bluetooth headset, they provide poor quality voice reception on the far end. In short, you can hear them just fine, but they can’t make out a word you say.

The advantage with the Apple Stereo Headset with Mic is that you have an ear piece in either ear, assuring you’re hearing the person on the other end of the phone just fine. Also, the microphone provides voice quality that is surprisingly crisp for the price. However, since this is only £19.00, there are a couple of setbacks. For example, a couple of people have complained about the quality of the actual earpieces, with a few saying that they can fall apart. This appears to be a minor problem, though, and most reviews have been generally favorable.

So where can you pick this headset up? Well, consider yourself lucky since you don’t have to leave the comfort of your computer chair. All you have to do is go to the Apple Store (U.K., of course) and lay down the £19, plus shipping.

It was certain to happen at some point in time. Your iPhone battery dies in the middle of a call. Whether you were just too busy to charge it before you left or you didn’t expect your battery to be so low, it’s a hassle either way. Are you out of luck? Not if you were fortunate enough to invest in the one iPhone accessory you can’t afford to be without – your emergency charger kit. Made to work with virtually any vehicle on the market today, you can be assured of the power you need when you need it with this purchase.

Use any twelve volt accessory outlet in your vehicle, and you can not only charge your phone as you head towards your destination, you can also use the charger to power your phone to make calls while you’re en route. Ideally, you’ll make this iPhone accessory purchase as you’re buying the phone itself, but if you’ve already had it for a few months, you can still make the purchase. In fact, at a very affordable £9.99, you may want to invest in one for each of your vehicles.

Now that you have your iPhone in hand, you’re going to want to make sure you have all the accessories you need to promise that you’ll get the full iPhone experience. Sure, while some things you can get for your iPhone may seem kind of useless, once you have them you’ll wonder how you ever got by before.

Now, you may think an iPhone dock is worthless, but you’d be wrong. Odds are you’ll want to hook your iPhone up to your PC or Mac at some point, and the iPhone Dock not only allows you to sync your phone up to the computer, but you can charge the phone while you’re doing it — unlike a BlackBerry Pearl.

But in addition to syncing with your PC to allow easier transference of mp3s and other files, the iPhone Dock can be used as a go-between from your iPhone to your stereo system, allowing you to blast your music through your speakers. The iPhone Dock also works great with speakerphone calls, providing crystal clear quality through its audio porting technology.

For just under £30 at the Apple Store, the iPhone Dock is a deal you can’t pass up if you’re a serious iPhone lover. The inclusion of both the Dock and the USB Power Adapter (along with necessary cords) makes this almost too good.

A touch-screen interface. It’s the technology they were talking about back in the fifties when they all said we’d have flying cars by now. And while we’ve seen it almost everywhere else recently, we haven’t been able to access it from our cell phones. Sure, you can use one of those so-called smart phones and pull out the stylus, scratch the screen, lose the stylus, and generally struggle with it, but what’s the point? You can’t truly touch the screen and have the functions you want literally at your fingertips. Or can you?

Apple’s new iPhone gives you the first touch screen interface on a cellular device. You don’t have to worry about scratching the screen with your stylus. You don’t have to worry about dropping the stylus on the train and having to purchase a replacement. Just pick it up and touch it. In fact, while you’re at it, why don’t you do a little more touching?

A smooth glass screen. A cool aluminum case. Just your bare skin and this amazing machine. Feels nice, huh? A bit more substantial and elegant than it’s competitors? It’s certainly a device you’ll want to hang on to. In fact, don’t be surprised if others want to touch your new iPhone too.

But is the look and feel really worth standing in line and paying for it? Absolutely. You’re looking at something that has a full operating system, displays actual web pages, and has 8 GB of storage space for you to fill. Touch the glass when you’re looking at an image, and you can zoom in and zoom out as easily as if you were talking to the ship on Star Trek. Scroll up and down through your messages not by clicking on a tiny, unusable arrow, but by literally moving your finger up and down the screen.

The bottom line here is that the iPhone manages to simulate an actual object. Whether you’re using the keyboard to send a note or scrolling through your playlist, the touch screen will be the most sensitive part of you. Just one touch, and you’ll find out why thousands are flocking to the iPhone.

The Iphone is a highly popular brand. The brand’s popularity knows no limits and the phone is a highly successful creation from Apple. The brand has gained such heights of popularity that it was declared the ‘Invention of the year (2007)’ by the Time Magazine. Having attained such high levels of success, it was inevitable that Apple would expand the phone’s market by launching in it several other nations. With its launch in UK on November 9, Apple made several promises and assurances to the British Iphone fans.

The release of the Iphone firmware 1.1.1 update has given rise to another Iphone application…..an ITunes wi-fi store. Downloading tracks has become an easy extremely affair, courtesy this wi-fi store. Through this feature, one can surf the available playlists, or search for the ‘top tens’, favorite artists, favorite tracks, most popular tracks and other such categories. One can hear a 30-second preview of the chosen track after which a ‘buy now’ icon flashes on the screen. Most of us immediately give in to the offer wherein a single track is charged for a ‘paltry’ sum of 0.99$.

The issue is that if this new store is leading to an addiction for easy and quick purchase of music downloads. 0.99$ may seem quite frivolous an amount to most of us Iphone users. But doesn’t this money stack up to mammoth amounts ultimately? What may seem a small amount for a download finally converts to a big amount if the downloads addiction isn’t curbed well. Besides the ease experienced in quick downloads transcends us to steps like wish, need, habit and addiction.

It’s high time we think over the issue. A friendly application can transform us into download devils. So now you’ve got to decide your fate.

United Kingdom is very busy in lots of preparations. For what? Indeed, to welcome iPhone. Apple is all set to launch iPhone in United Kingdoms. However, there’s a word of caution being spread everywhere. About what? A must listen by everyone, specially the iPhone owners from UK.

I recently came across a news that stated that all iPhone users, in United Kingdom, are warned to take a very good care of their iPhone, in terms of its security. Since, iPhone is said to be very “iconic”, there are a lot more chances of it being stolen. Jack Wraith, the chairperson of the “mobile phone trade body” has taken a step to caution everyone. According to Wrath, iPhone is very attractive in all its features; therefore, there are possibilities of iPhone theft. He also stated that, “iPhone will cause a peak in iPhone robberies”. It is also predicted that, “iPhone may set off a crime wave of mobile phone thefts”.

The statistical results shows that around approximately 800,000 mobile phones are been stolen from across the world, in which almost 52% of all the mobile phone thefts alone comprises of United Kingdoms. So all my friends from United Kingdom beware, don’t let the bad crooks get your beloved iPhone.

‘Big news friend, iPhone is now available to me too. I will have my own iPhone. Hurray!! If you can, come down to my place, lets celebrate’. Wondering who is this? Well folks that was my friend from UK. He called me up early this morning to inform me.

Anways, keeping this aside, let me tell you the important news folks. The big news is that iPhone will be released in UK and Apple has finalized the dates of iPhone release in UK. The release date is specified to be 9th of November. The honor of providing service to iPhone is taken up by “O2”. It is specified that 8Gb iPhone will be available with a price tag of $269 plus ‘VAT’.

An “unlimited data plan” along with a wide range of ‘voice plans’ will accompany iPhone.  $35 for 200 minutes, $45 for 600 and $55 for 1200 minutes are the ranges in which these schemes will be available. Also, the SMS pattern is that the basic plan will have 200 SMS where as 500 free SMS can be enjoyed by the other ‘two plans’.

Well this doesn’t end here. There is more good news. “Cloud” has come forward to provide with “7500 hotspots” for iPhone users free of cost. iPhone will be available at all the 1300 stores of “Carphone Warehouse”. There, I can see UK celebrating. iPhone sure rules the world folks.

The question on the tip of everyone’s lips at the moment (in the UK anyway) is “when is the iPhone going to be available in the UK?” Well the answer is - the 4th quarter which basically means just in time for Christmas. Lets face it Apple are smart and they are going to want to cause pandemonium when the so-called Jesus Phone is released, and what better time to do it.

A Christmas release of the iPhone in the UK will surely put it at the top of everyone’s wish list - so if you want one you better get writing to Santa because I would foresee a shortfall in the number of units available, this will also help in keeping pricing high.

There has also been much speculation about the network who will win the rights to distribute the iPhone. So far there have only been rumours it will be O2 or Vodaphone. Personally I don’t think either have a hope in hell, they are probably the worst choices.

Orange has the right image to work in synergy with the iPhone - it has always struck me as being a ‘cool’ network, well the best of the bunch. However T-Mobile is by far my favourite, they have a good solid network, good customer service and great price plans - not to mention I am currently with them.

There are a lot of retailers out there selling pre-orders of the iPhone … ha ha ha. This is the biggest joke ever - they cannot even put a price on it. Basically they are trying to get people in the door then disappoint them when they either cannot get stock or they cannot give the best deal. I would advise steering clear of these people even if they seem like big names.

So anyway good luck with getting yours and keep checking our site as we have someone on the inside - this will allow us to give the heads up to our subscribers when there is any new (and reliable) news on the release of the iPhone in the UK.
